Devolon takes a new direction

Sometimes during a company's journey it is necessary to stop for a moment, look at things from a new perspective and think about the purpose of the company's existence. So over the year at Devolon, we looked at each other and thought about what we are truly best at and what truly inspires us to do our best. Because the true value that is generated for the customer goes hand in hand with what drives us and what really turns us on.

We first looked at our performance in different industries and their successes. What if Devolon's superpower might be found in a particular industry? However, we quickly realized that we have excellent achievements in various sectors, such as payment solutions and industrial applications. 

We interviewed several customers and also our employees until we realized that our successful customers were always based on the customer's strong vision of what kind of innovation can produce a competitive advantage in the market or even change or create a completely new one. So we have recognized that we are at our best when the customer has a strong vision of what the market needs but often needs more competence in technology and software project implementation.

There is actually one secret to the success of new innovations, and we now know what it is: innovation developers focus on driving the business, not the technology. 

I have been involved in the startup world for decades and have seen so many successes and so many failures. The reality is that software is usually rewritten many times over a startup's lifecycle, and many huge success stories are based on very simple and old technology. ex. Facebook is made with PHP.

That's why it's important to get things done in the MVP stage, looking far enough into the future, but realizing that the most important thing is to validate the business as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
